Since graduating as an actor in 1991 from Icelandic Academy of the Arts, Drama division, I have acted, written and directed both for TV and theatre. One of my first jobs was to host, write and direct a kids´ TV program. I have founded two independent theatres, directed and acted in all of Iceland´s professional theatres. I was a judge on Iceland‘s Dance show on national TV, acted in nouerous TV series and films - even two American films; The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Bokeh - as well as being the country´s no. 1 best selling children´s books Author since 2011. In february 2016 I won the Icelandic Literary Award for best children´s book.
